The price was quite different from what was given in the email. In any case, the owner gave up the taxes.

It was very very expensive. I could understand a a little premium being charged, but this was double the price what other garages charge...

South side auto services was spot on timing wise and the personnel were professional and very courteous. They contacted me when they received my order and confirmed my scheduled appointment.

Purchased tires from @Blackcircles.ca and selected Southside Auto through the recommended installer list based on their good Google reviews. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing and horrible experience. After the tire installation, I noticed all four of my wheels were damaged along the edges — clearly from the dismounting and mounting process. I went back to the shop same day and spoke with the manager, Shafir, who initially said that this kind of damage "usually happens" when mounting tires and even tried showed me the wheels on his own car to proof a point. Once he looked at the damages more closely, he had the mechanic inspect them as well. Unsurprisingly the mechanic immediately denied any responsibility, and at that point, Shafir changed his stance and said the damage was “existing” and tried to blame this on me. He offered me a free oil change as compensation, which I declined because all I wanted is for them to take ownership and fix the wheels. Needless to say, they denied all responsibility and Shafir insisted that since my car is a 2018 model, the damage must have been there before. I’m extremely disappointed on how they acted and the handling of customers — I know full well the wheels were in excellent condition prior to the installation, and this is not the kind of service or accountability one should expect. Shafir asked me not to leave a negative review before I left as this would potentially cause the mechanic to get fired. Instead of CYA, should have focus the energy on resolving a customer concern. Shafir called me on my way home and advised he has spoken with the owner and is willing to provide a refund for the mount and balance along with a free oil change service as a good will gesture.How would this be suffice and why would anyone offer this if you claim the damages were not caused by you? @Blackcircles.ca - highly recommend to have a look at the pictures I posted on Google review and remove Southside Auto from your suggested installer list. Don't imagine you want this partnership to impact your business. Ended up spending additional $700 to have the wheels fixed.
