Contest and Giveaway Term
These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all Blackcircles.ca ran competitions. Please view our Facebook pages to enter.
1. The competition will run from the moment it is published on Facebook and/or Twitter until the date & time specified within the post.
2. The competition prize is as specified within the post.
3. To obtain an entry into the competition an entrant has multiple different ways - unless another entry method is specified within the post - these include commenting on a Facebook post & retweeting a twitter post.
4. The winner will be drawn after the competition ends and contacted directly prior to public announcement. Should Blackcircles.ca be unable to make contact with a winner within 7 days or should a winner be unable to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
5. Names of winners will be posted on the Blackcircles.ca Facebook page and/or tweeted by Blackcircles.ca.
6. The prizes are subject to availability, non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
7. Winners will be drawn from all social media entries (i.e. retweets and comments unless stated otherwise) at random.
8. The prize draw is open to residents of Canada, aged 18 years or over, except employees of Blackcircles.ca, the prize sponsors, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
9. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the claimant agrees to abide by these rules.
10. The winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of Blackcircles.ca.
11. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Blackcircles.ca and accordingly Blackcircles.ca may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Blackcircles.ca as a result thereof.
12. Blackcircles.ca reserves the right to withdraw all competition / promotion at any time.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
Gran Turismo Giveaway
This prize draw is open to all Canadian consumers excluding blackcircles.ca’s employees and their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of this prize draw.
No purchase necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted.
All entries must be submitted by August 22, 2023 midnight EST.
- Winning Prizes: there are 10 pairs / 20 movie tickets valid from the film’s release (currently indicated as August 30, 2023) for a period of 4 weeks (subject to local screening practices by Sony Entertainment). The prize excludes transportation, accommodation and any other incidental costs in relation to redeeming the Cinema codes.
The opening date for entries is on 27th July 2023. The closing date is August 22, 2023. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
By submitting a prize draw entry, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
The Promoter will select the winners at random from the correct entries on 9th August 2023.
To be eligible for entry into the competition, entrants must comment on the official Blackcircles.ca Facebook posts posted on 27th July 2023 and tag in their guest.
Winners will be drawn from all social media entries (i.e. retweets and comments unless stated otherwise) using Comment Picked to randomly select the winning comment or retweet from the Facebook.
The winners will be notified on social media on 9th August 2023 and must provide an email address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 48 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner.
Winners will receive a unique booking code to be redeemed on Cineplex website
The prize is subject to availability and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
The images used in the promotional material are for illustrative purposes only. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in competition entries.
Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. For further details, please refer to the privacy notice set out below.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is directly caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
The Promoter reserves the right to publish or make available on request information about a prize winner that indicates that a valid award took place (usually by way of surname and country of the prize winner only or their social media handle) and, if applicable, their winning entries. If you do not wish this information to be published or made available on request to the Promoter or wish to reduce the amount of information published or made available please contact the Promoter at info@blackcircles.ca. This will not prevent the Promoter from providing the information and winning entry to the relevant supervisory authority if requested.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. The Promoter’s decision is final.
This prize draw is governed by Canadian law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Canadian courts.

Promotion - personal data collected for the purpose of administering the promotion is being collected directly by Blackcircles as a Data Processor. Such data processing is being carried out solely to administer the promotion. Your data will be processed based on your agreement to the promotion terms and conditions and will be retained for no longer than six months following the end date of the promotion (or receipt of your prize if you are a winner).
