Do prices on your website include mounting & balancing?

The prices on the website do not include mounting & balancing. If you select the "Installed" option when purchasing tires on blackcircles.ca, our team will help book your appointment at a garage and send your tires directly at the selected garage. You will have to pay for mounting & balancing tires & any other services you might need directly at the garage the day of your appointment as they are not included in the price of your tires and/or rims.

Please also note that balancing tires is not the same thing as a specialized wheel alignment.

What is the difference between a Wheel Alignment and Balancing your tires?

Wheel alignment and balancing have different purposes.

Tire balancing corrects uneven distribution of weight in the wheels. Imbalanced wheels can lead to vibration, excessive tire wear, damage to the suspension and other problems.

The most significant benefit of balancing your tires is that it will prevent premature tire tread wear.

Wheel alignment is the process of ensuring that your wheels are set to the optimum position and prevents abnormal wear of your tires. Alignment keeps your car from veering to the right or left. It also can improve the handling of your vehicle and stop unusual on-the-road vibrations.

When should you consider a wheel alignment?

If you suspect any of the following, you should consider asking a garage to look at your wheel alignment:

A tire that is worn evenly on the outside is likely under inflated.

A tire that is worn only down in the middle of the tire is likely over inflated.

But a tire that is worn unevenly on a particular side is probably the result of a poor wheel alignment. This may be the result of an impact on an uneven road surface or curb.

Our partner garages will be able to provide you with an estimate for a wheel alignment.

When installing new tires, do we need to do awheel alignment?

If you haven’t seen any of the problems mentioned above, you probably won’t require a wheel alignment, but you may want to have your tires checked to make sure nothing is wrong.
