What are the standards for wheels?

Certification, standards and quality

All RTX alloy wheels exceed several safety standards including JWL, JWL-T and VIA certifications. The JWL standard represents a set of requirements for alloy wheels. This standard is set by the Japanese authorities and is required for all cars running in Japan. These requirements are among the most stringent in the industry. The letters JWL molded on a rim certify that it has been tested by the manufacturer to meet the requirements of the standard. The VIA mark represents the Vehicle Inspection Association of Japan, which independently tests alloy wheels to ensure they meet the requirements of the JWL standard. A tested wheel will be marked with the letters JWL and VIA.
