blackcircles.ca has ranked No. 148 on Report on Business magazine's 2026 ranking of Canada's Top Growing Companies, published by The Globe and Mail on September 25, 2026. We earned our place in the Consumer category with three-year revenue growth of 174% between 2022 and 2025, alongside 374 other Canadian businesses on this year's list. It's our first time on the ranking.
A growth number on its own doesn't tell you much as a driver. What matters is what's behind it and what it changes for you. So along with the announcement, this article explains how the ranking works, what we believe earned us a spot on it, and what it means for you.
What Is the Canada's Top Growing Companies Ranking?
Canada's Top Growing Companies is an editorial ranking created by The Globe and Mail's Report on Business magazine. It launched in 2019 to recognize independent Canadian businesses that are growing fast, and 2026 marks its eighth edition.
The method is straightforward. Companies are ranked by the percentage their revenue grew over three years, which for this edition means 2022 to 2025. Participation is voluntary: each company completes an in-depth application and has to meet specific revenue requirements to qualify.
Because the ranking uses a growth percentage rather than total revenue, it doesn't favour the biggest players. It measures momentum. A company that has grown steadily for three years can rank ahead of a much larger business that has stood still.
This year, 375 companies made the list. The full ranking is available on The Globe and Mail's website and in the October issue of Report on Business magazine.
No. 148 With 174% Three-Year Growth
For a company founded in 2018, with a team of 28 people, placing No. 148 out of 375 on our first appearance is a meaningful milestone. It means our 2025 revenue was more than two and a half times what it was in 2022, during a period when many Canadian households were watching every dollar they spent on their vehicles.
Martin Gendron, President and CEO of Blackcircles Canada, put it this way:
"Being named one of Canada's Top Growing Companies is a proud moment for everyone at blackcircles.ca. It reflects the trust our customers place in us and the dedication of our team and garage partners. From the beginning, we've put customer service at the centre of what we do. Our goal is to make buying tires and wheels online as simple as possible while giving drivers across Canada an exceptional choice of top brands. This recognition motivates us to keep improving that experience."
That last line is the important one. Growth isn't the goal in itself. It's the result of drivers choosing to come back, and recommending us to others.
Thank You to Our Customers and Partners
Being named one of Canada's Top Growing Companies for 2026 belongs to the drivers who trusted us with their tire purchases and to the garage partners who install them every day. We'll keep working on the same things that got us here: clear choices, simple ordering and service you can count on.
