Summer tires are designed for warm temperatures and provide excellent performance on dry or wet roads. Winter tires are mandatory in Quebec from December 1 to March 15 and offer superior grip on snow and ice. All-season tires are a practical compromise, but they do not match the performance of specialized tires in extreme conditions.
